DAHL and Doherty Employees Participate in National Wear Red Day for the American Heart Association

Heart disease and stroke affect millions of people every year—but together, we can help change that.

On Friday, February 6, 2026, employees from Dahl Consulting (DAHL) and Doherty Staffing Solutions proudly joined the nationwide movement for heart health by participating in National Wear Red Day. This annual initiative, led by the American Heart Association, raises awareness about cardiovascular disease and inspires individuals to take proactive steps toward prevention.

As part of our continued commitment to supporting heart health, Doherty and DAHL—together with the Doherty Family Foundation—pledged a donation for every employee who wore red in honor of Heart Month. These contributions help fuel lifesaving research, public education, and advocacy efforts aimed at reducing the impact of heart disease and stroke nationwide.

This year, 40 employees participated, generating $800 in donations. With a 2x match from the Doherty Family Foundation ($1,600) and a 6x match from the American Heart Association, the total impact reached an incredible $9,600 to support vital heart‑health initiatives across the country.

Beyond wearing red, employees were encouraged to deepen their impact through meaningful actions, including:

  • Learn CPR: CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival during cardiac arrest. Use the CPR course locator to find a class near you.
  • Know the Warning Signs: Recognizing symptoms of heart attacks or strokes leads to faster response times and better outcomes.
  • Give Back: Making a personal donation—especially in honor of someone you love—supports critical cardiovascular research and community resources.

Thank You for Making a Difference

A heartfelt thank‑you to all DAHL and Doherty employees who participated in Wear Red Day, helped spread awareness, and contributed to this important cause. Your actions—big and small—help drive progress in the fight against heart disease.

Together, we are creating healthier communities and saving lives.
