DAHL Employees Participate in Wear Red Day to Support Company Donation to the American Heart Association

According to the American Heart Association, every 40 seconds a loved one has a heart attack or stroke. Together, we can protect the hearts we love by wearing red to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease.

On Friday, February 4, 2022, Dahl Consulting (DAHL) employees were invited to participate in Wear Red Day. This national initiative through the American Heart Association was created to raise awareness for and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. This year’s theme was focused on reclaiming your rhythm and creating or rebuilding healthy habits that work best for you despite the physical and mental stress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

For each DAHL employee that participated in Wear Red Day, our company pledged a donation to the American Heart Association. We’re pleased to announced that after final count, the donation totaled $1,420, surpassing previous years’ amounts. This company donation will be used by the American Heart Association for lifesaving work to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease showing that together, we can reclaim our rhythm.

In addition to wearing red, employees were encouraged to raise awareness for and reduce the risks of cardiovascular disease through the following ways:

Thank you to every DAHL employee who “Rocked Red” on Friday to raise awareness and funds for the American Heart Association!
