Mick Doherty joined Dahl Consulting (DAHL) in 2017. As the Director of Business Development, he is currently focused on partnering with businesses throughout the upper Midwest to provide customized, innovative workforce solutions including Staffing, Payrolling, Managed Services (MSP), and a Vendor Management System (VMS) technology offering. As an Owner, Mick advantageously guides the long-term revenue growth strategies and tactically navigates DAHL and it’s sister company, Doherty Staffing Solutions, through the ever-changing current of the employment services industry. A graduate from the University of Colorado – Boulder in 2010 where he studied Business Administration, Mick utilizes his extensive educational background and prior business consulting experience to provide total talent management expertise to hiring managers and operational leaders in a variety of industries. Outside of work, Mick enjoys time with his growing family and keeping touch with friends. 

Tim Doherty is the Owner and Chairman of both Dahl Consulting (DAHL) and Doherty Staffing Solutions (Doherty). A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Tim first started Doherty in 1980 and the company recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. In 2017, he and the Doherty family acquired DAHL to enhance their employment services offerings. In his Chairman role, Tim extends strategic oversight of the business development and operations across both companies and all business sub-divisions to ensure continued growth and financial stability. As an Owner, Tim advantageously guides the long-term revenue growth strategies and tactically navigates both DAHL and Doherty through the ever-changing current of the employment services industry. His extensive tenure in the industry uniquely positions Tim as a heralded protagonist for both his colleagues and close business partners. In his leisure time, Tim enjoys family activities, tennis and golf. 

Valerie Doherty is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of both Dahl Consulting (DAHL) and Doherty Staffing Solutions (Doherty). Doherty first opened in 1980 and the company recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. In 2017, Valerie and the Doherty family acquired DAHL to enhance their employment services offerings. In her role as CEO for both companies, she oversees the human resources, benefits, legal and risk management departments, including all business sub-divisions. As an Owner, Valerie advantageously guides the long-term revenue growth strategies and tactically navigates both DAHL and Doherty through the ever-changing current of the employment services industry. Her wide-ranging experiences and vast term in the industry uniquely positions Valerie as a respected advisor for both her colleagues and close business partners. With her ownership, DAHL and Doherty are both certified Women’s Business Enterprises through WBENC. Valerie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Cloud State University (SCSU) and has her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. When she’s not working, Valerie enjoys family activities and playing tennis. 

William (Billy) Doherty joined Dahl Consulting (DAHL) in 2017. As Vice President, he leads DAHL’s Vendor Management System (VMS) technology development and Managed Services Program (MSP) division operations. In addition, Billy is the President of Doherty Staffing Solutions (Doherty), overseeing the company’s overall operations as well as, contract negotiations, preventive risk strategies, counseling on employment-related issues, and regulatory compliance. As an Owner, Billy advantageously guides the long-term revenue growth strategies and tactically navigates both DAHL and Doherty through the ever-changing current of the employment services industry. Billy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Denver and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. Outside of work, Billy enjoys time with his growing family and golfing with friends.
