DAHL HISTORY

Dahl Consulting was founded and established in 1993 by Kathy Dahl. A Computer Major and Consultant, Kathy had the background and drive to develop her own consulting firm. In the early days, Dahl primarily provided Technology Consultants to its two largest clients, 3M and its spinoff Imation. Today, Dahl has over 80 clients and continues to provide Information Technology Consultants, but has also branched out into other areas of Sourcing and Staffing providing talent within Marketing, Creative, Human Resources, Recruiting, Finance and Administrative.

In the year 2000, Dahl expanded its offering of Sourcing and Staffing to include Workforce Solutions to assist clients with the management of bringing in contract and contingent workers. Dahl began its Managed Services and Vendor Management Services at Deluxe Corporation in May of 2000. Since that time, Dahl has continued to expand these Solutions for many of its current clients and continues to partner with Deluxe.

In 2002, Dahl was selected as a strategic partner for Target Corporation to provide Managed Services as well as Contractor Payroll Services throughout Target. Over the years this partnership has grown to include many collaborative and innovative programs for Target and Dahl. One that solved a growing need was a Minority Vendor Consortium Program that Dahl initiated and managed. This program provided an additional channel for Minority and Woman owned businesses to do more direct work with Target. This proved to be very successful. Today some of the consortium vendors have moved up to become direct suppliers in the Target preferred vendor program.

In 2006, Dahl added Cargill to its list of clients providing Information Technology Sourcing and Staffing. Dahl was proud to be selected Cargill’s 2007 Diverse Supplier of the Year and enjoyed a lunch with Cargill CEO Greg Page.

Today, Dahl continues to provide Workforce Solutions and Sourcing and Staffing Services to its clients. Always growing and looking for ways to add value and provide cost savings, Dahl has brought on its own Vendor Management Software System called Contract Central.
